Our Team are made up of qualified Temporary Works Co-Ordinators and Temporary Works Supervisors and have a great understanding of CDM 2015 and BS 5975 (Code of Practice for Temporary Works) and their application when applied to heavy transport, lifting and installation on site. Our team can guide site principals and contractors through step by step processes that will assure project methods, and significantly mitigate the chances of design failure on project work.
MAC Heavy Lift can arrange bespoke contracts that can be utilised by our clients when they outsource project logistics and lifitng, in order to manage the risk of spiralling costs on their projects. Using our experience in setting up project 'programme of works' and with the understanding of the complexities of road transport, contract lifting, site operations and 3rd party costs, it is possible to significantly minimise the risk carried by the Project with an all-encompassing contract. As well as experience in detailing and draughting bespoke contracts, the team at MAC Heavy Lift have experience in setting out and evaluating standard forms of contracts such as those produced by NEC and JCT. In addition to contract formation, we can have a role in any pre-litigation evaluation and settlement mediation regarding project logistics and lifting.
